Our Achievements

We are proud to share our achievements in the areas of community and youth beneficiaries, children trained on sexual and reproductive health rights, and law enforcers sensitized to GBV prevention.

KWCWC, through its outreach program, has addressed sexual and Gender Based Violence & related issues in various areas within Nairobi such as:

  1. Kasarani and surrounding areas which include among others, Babadogo, Githurai, Kahawa West, Korogocho and Mathare.
  2. KWCWC has also commissioned a baseline survey to identify GBV trends in Roysambu and establish bottlenecks to access to justice, medical service, and psychosocial support for survivors of GBV.
  3. We have had a direct impact on over 300,000 lives.
  4. We have Established a one stop shop for all Gender-based violence related events.
  5. We have conducted a national mapping exercise to profile anti-FGM actors in Kenya.
  6. We have celebrated and awarded key people who have touched the lives of women and children through the annual international women’s day.
  7. We hosted communal medical camps e.g. The 2015 medical camp which saw over 3000 patients from the community, attended to.
