At KWCWC, we tackle the root causes and consequences of gender-based violence
and child abuse through a survivor centred approach
approach. Every survivor who walks through our doors finds a team committed to their
dignity, safety, and future. Each member of our team shares a singular mission: to
break the cycle of violence and help survivors reclaim their lives.
Established in 2010 as a generous donation by the James R. Jordan Foundation
International and its philanthropic partners, KWCWC is a not-for-profit organization
registered in Nairobi, Kenya. Our mission is to provide health care services to
marginalized groups, including survivors of GBV, while equipping first responders with
the tools to deliver compassionate, quality care.
Our comprehensive campus serves families across the Eastern African region, offering
integrated services such as medical care, psychosocial support, legal aid, and a safe
space for survivors. By reducing the burden of accessing multiple services, we ensure a
seamless recovery journey for those in need.
